It's official y'alls!!! If you read my previous blog i am finally 16, my birthday was on friday October 3rd. So i'm
16@war, but the war has yet begun or has it ? I don't know but what i do know is that ....Ladies...and ....gentlemen ....Mizz.sing's in Action!!!!! Although I would love to talk to you about how my birthday went....i have some more serious topic to talk about: My 2nd love. Now don't get it twisted I know i'm not getting love mixed up with lust. This is love and i'm in love with Music. ( My first love is God lol no one or nothing could replace him) So back on topic i specifically want to talk about ....Hip Hop. My question is why is Hip Hop so counterversal? It seems to me that only America has such a problem with it. Some people say Hip Hop is negative and provacative ( Is this spelled right lol). It's not only Hip Hop i believe Rock, pop, and even Country falls under these alligations too. Also some people think that Hip Hop is etermined by artist like Soulja boy, Dj Unk, Flo Rida, etc. No hard feelings you know I enjoy some instrutional dance songs about how i should step to the left and then step it to the right but Hip Hop is more than that. It's a feeling that you get it is a connection you make with lyrics, the rythm , and emotions of the song. The dept of Hip Hop is overwhelming it's so real if you let it be...and what i mean by that is Hip Hop is made up of many layers. There's this song Bird's Eye View - by Zion I. It just describes the way Hip Hop should feel to True Hip hop lovers.( and I stress
True)
Lyrics:
I got a bird's eye view Hip hop, there's so many things you can say about it, know what I mean? Like, on the real, hip hop is like, just, beautiful Hip hop is life [Verse 1] From the first time I saw you, infatuation Pulled to the side to provide conversation Wild reputation but you were so cool Any old fool knew that you was a jewel Ghetto to ghetto, your influence settled More hardcore than r&b but not metal Blacker than the kettle, you made me feel mellow Introduction to my life, I said "hello" Meet me in a minute 'cause I gotta finish school Some of my homies, they never finished puffin' woo's Stayin' up late, always studying the tapes The world watched you fall in love, I guess fate had a, Grip on my mind state, I wanna rhyme, wait I fell in line, getting signed at the wrong gates And so my heart braced at first for real But I would still be lovin' you 'cause deep is what I feel I got a bird's eye view I be wit'chu, I be there wit'chu I be wit'chu, I be there wit'chu 2x She's the one I always count on, one that wouldn't leave me One that's in the city always written in graffiti One that keeps me company, when I'm all alone She's my heart, my mind, my spirit and my bones She's the only one I know that would go across the globe Meet me in a foreign land, treat me like I'm home Everything I own, give to her, she deserves it Treats me like a king, every syllable is perfect Searched through the earth for a reason just to be here And since I met her every moment's like a leap year Baby you can sleep here, you can stay with me Anywhere you go, know I'm probably gon' be Full of energy, and you never acting tired You're everything I need, when I prayed, God supplied You my chunky fire, blessings you provide Always in my life 'til the day that I die
P.S. I realize that the titles sort of relate to my composition and i leave with this picture.I depicts how i feel with out Hip Hop:
